The Luxury Setting

People are surprised that we only have six beds, but that was intentional in keeping with our goal of a more intimate approach to healing. Because we are a small facility, we are able to not only invest in equipment, amenities, and accessories that will help you live in the lap of luxury but provide personal attention unheard of at most rehabs. The architectural design itself is nothing like the hospital-like setting of other clinics so that Ranch Creek’s recovery treatment center is more like a five-star hotel than a “rehab.” After a day of therapy, counseling or yoga, you return to well-appointed, serene surroundings which let you heal and grow in comfort.

What Can You Expect From Our Services?

There’s nothing generic about what we do, from our facilities, the staff we hire and our recovery programs which also include holistic, experiential and alternative methods. This gives us a lot of leeway to choose a therapeutic route that will be comfortable for you. The 12-step program often used at standard drug rehab centers does not work for everyone which is why we have explored other means to help you in your way to recovery.

What Do We Offer?

Equine-assisted Therapy

The use of trained horses has been proven to help not just people dealing with alcoholism and substance abuse, but also those with emotional problems as well, to get in touch with their feelings and keep them balanced. Horses almost have a sixth sense to sense the emotion of people around them. The sessions are closely supervised by the licensed instructor.

Exercise Therapy:

Lifestyle change can be the key to help you turn over a new leaf. The exercise as therapy will give you the basics that can help you when you leave our facility. Exercise will build a positive outlook and improve self-esteem. You can also find exercise as an integral part of the therapy offered at Ranch Creek Recovery’s drug rehab center.

Yoga and Meditation

There’s a specific discipline in yoga therapy tailor-fitted for alcoholics and drug addicts. The physical discipline involved helps improve the body’s ability to resist cravings and rebuild health concerns caused by long-term use. Yoga and meditation will help you manage your emotions and self-acceptance, giving you healthy coping mechanisms for emotional growth.

Acupuncture

This Chinese method which has been existing for centuries. It was popularized in the 1970s when a Hong Kong practitioner named Dr. Wen recorded a high success rate of weaning patients from addiction in New York. Acupuncture has become an accepted form of alternative method used by many addiction treatment centers to help in recovery, as evidenced by the establishment of the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association more than 20 years ago.

Massage Therapy

This is a good way to link your body and mind. Our massage therapists can help you feel more relaxed and less anxious by increasing the levels of dopamine in your body. Dopamine is the chemical which releases happy and content feelings in the brain, which is often manipulated by drug use. When you go into withdrawal, your dopamine levels drop. Massage therapy allows, in addition to the physical healing, a patient to manage dopamine levels while navigating detox and treatment.

Gong Sound Therapy

This uses sound vibration to tap into the body’s natural energies. Throughout history, gongs have been used as a meditation tool and even also to get people into a trance-like state. That’s because the sound enters the outer ear and converts into a vibration that will positively impact on brain waves, blood pressure, heart, and respiratory rates. Gong therapy can help you center yourself and get in touch with your feelings, find your inner self and develop coping mechanisms for future challenges.

Private Resort to Find Yourself Again

Your privacy is very important to us.
Nevertheless, it’s worthy to note that confidentiality is guaranteed under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 which provides, among others:

  • That rehab facilities and hospitals adopt some measures to protect information of clients
  • That safeguards be adopted to make sure access to confidential patient information be limited to people directly involved in treatment
  • That staff should be trained on how to protect privacy

Each of our hardworking staff has years of experience under their belt. It’s not only to make you comfortable but also to make sure that once you leave the facility you can resume your life without the anchor of addiction holding you back.
